Piercing Tools

Vermeer MV Solutions offers two types of Hole Hammers: Positive Turn Reverse and Quarter Turn Reverse. Both options are proven, powerful partners for trenchless projects.

Hole Hammer Positive Turn Reverse

The Vermeer Hole Hammer Positive Turn Reverse Piercing Tool is great for projects, including gas and electric, fiber and telecom, water and irrigation installations. Only requiring 35 ft. lbs. of torque to gain access to the tool assembly, this tool is easy to service in the field. Its head design is replaceable, allowing for extended use of the tool body. This piercing tool also has one of the heaviest striker to body weight ratios on the industry, providing the power you need on your jobsite.

Hole Hammer Quarter Turn Reverse

Trust the Vermeer Hole Hammer Quarter Turn Reverse Piercing Tool on your gas, cable, electric, water and irrigation system projects. Get clear feedback with its all-steel air-on reverse design. Operators can see and hear when the tool has shifted into reverse when the air hose is rotated a quarter turn. This piercing tool will increase your accuracy with its moving head design. 100% of the striker energy is delivered to the moving head, which is best in compact soil conditions. Its convenient spring reset feature will also reset the head after each strike, ensuring that each one is as powerful as the next.

Utility Locators

McLaughlin utility locators can quickly identify pipes, cables, and other utility lines. A full range is offered, making it easy to find the locator that fits your application.
