Innovating Drilling Solutions

Mincon has been empowering industries with efficient, high-performance drilling solutions and expertise for over 45 years. They adapt to various rig types for flexible use, enhancing operational versatility and ensuring easy access to high-quality equipment worldwide.

Horizontal Directional Drilling Systems

The Mincon range of HDD systems use proven technology to reliably deliver fast, efficient performance. The HDD pilot and reamer hammers deliver faster penetration rates in hard rock while creating smaller cuttings that are easier to remove from the bore hole. All Mincon HDD hammers work with normal conventional directional drill rigs using locating systems. Mincon Hard Rock Hammer Systems utilize “High Frequency Cycle” technology. Mincon is the only manufacturer of steerable hammers that incorporates this feature. The benefits are endless:

  • Aids in faster removal of drill cuttings from the bit face while providing the smallest possible chip size. This helps keep the bore hole cleaner and reduces the possibility of getting the tool stuck.
  • Improves the steering capabilities of the tool. In head to heads against competitive manufactures, the Mincon Hard Rock systems out-steered them in dirt, cobble, and solid rock.
  • Provides less vibration to the drill string. This ensures less wear and tear to the rig and locating sonde.
